Careers & Learning Center at ASHG Central
In Los Angeles, the ASHG Careers & Learning Center will be located in the Exhibit Hall at ASHG Central and will be open during exhibit hours (Wednesday & Thursday 10 am– 5 pm and Friday 10 am – 2pm). Stop by to receive a list of exhibitors who are hiring, information about all ASHG learning & career resources, or just to say hi.
The meeting program includes two career development events and seven workshops for trainees and early-career scientists that are available for registration now.
Free Career Coaching
ASHG is offering free 1:1 career coaching for our meeting attendees! Sign up via the email sent to all ASHG 2022 attendees on October 13th to meet with a career coach for 15 minutes during ASHG 2022. You will be asked to share your updated CV or resume before the meeting so the coach can review with you onsite. Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis and there will not be additional times added once they are all booked. Make sure to sign up today!
Attend the Career Fair
Held in the Exhibit Hall Wednesday & Thursday 10 am– 5 pm and Friday 10 am – 2pm, the Career Fair will connect attendees at all experience levels who are seeking jobs with exhibitors that are actively hiring. ASHG’s online job board connects the innovative and energetic ASHG community with highly relevant positions in human genetics and genomics. There is no cost to post a resume and search positions, and job posting is discounted for ASHG members. For questions, email careerprograms@ashg.org. As of 2019, ASHG no longer supplies a physical job board at the Annual Meeting. Please post open positions on the online job board.
