ASHG 2023 will take place November 1-5 in Washington, DC. The meeting provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge science in all areas of human genetics. ASHG members and leading scientists from around the world are selected to present their research findings at invited, plenary, platform, and poster sessions. This year’s meeting will be an unmatched opportunity to celebrate like never before in a historical, diverse, and welcoming city home to many free activities. The official meeting language is English.

Be Aware of Scams for Housing and Attendee Lists

Be alert! ASHG members and meeting attendees are being approached by companies or visiting websites that falsely claim to be official ASHG hotel partners or offer “the best rates.” Many of these are scams. We strongly suggest you book using the hotel links provided on ASHG’s website or another reputable and known travel website. Members and exhibitors have reported lost reservations and unrecoverable expenses from such scams and fake sites. Please pay careful attention when booking, and we look forward to welcoming you to Washington D.C.

Another common scam is an offer of the official attendee email list for ASHG 2023. ASHG does not sell, rent, or share contact/lead lists of members or meeting attendees. None of these companies are legitimate. Please reach out to exhibits@ashg.org for advertising and sponsorship options to reach ASHG meeting attendees and to report suspicious contacts.
