SIG Meetups

During the ASHG Annual Meeting, you can join ASHG’s three Shared Interest Groups in-person for open discussion, collaboration, and networking. Meetups will be held each morning in room 710:​

• Phenotypes & Genotypes:
  Wednesday, November 6, 9:30 – 10:15 am.
• Bioinformatics & Computational Methods:
  Thursday, November 7, 9:30 – 10:15 am.
• Emerging Laboratory Technologies:
  Friday, November 8, 9:30 – 10:15 am.

Career Hub

ASHG is launching the Career Hub this year to offer a dedicated space for career development at the Annual Meeting. Situated conveniently within the Exhibit Hall, this space will provide a wealth of resources and opportunities for attendees at all career stages in human genetics and genomics. The Career Hub will include half-hour career talks where you can gain valuable insights from industry leaders and established researchers.

The Career Hub will also be the home of ASHG’s new hiring mixers, designed to connect attendees that are hiring with potential employees looking for a job through a casual and social setting. Those looking to hire can meet a wider range of potential candidates in a shorter time and assess their fit for any open role(s) in a more casual setting. Job seekers can network with multiple employers simultaneously, learn more about different companies and labs, and stand out from the crowd through face-to-face interaction.
