If you require assisted listening devices, a sign language interpreter, or anything not listed below to participate, please fill out the accessibility request in the registration process by September 9 to allow time to explore accommodations, especially for attendees who may require sign language services.

Designated Spaces

Please visit childcare & onsite services (coming soon) for designated spaces and services such as childcare, family/lactation rooms, prayer/meditation room, quiet/sensory room, and gender-neutral restrooms.

Motorized Scooters for Rent

Motorized scooters are available for rent at ASHG 2025. More information coming soon.

Accommodations

These services do not need to be requested and are available to all attendees.

• Reserved front row seating (for mobility, visual, auditory, or cognitive needs).
• Open captions for concurrent scientific sessions.
  • Captions will be available at the top of each room’s main screen. Dedicated seating areas will be set aside near the front of the room. Attendees can also access captions using their personal devices. Instructions will be available during the meeting.
• Wide walkways for wheelchair/scooter use.
• All restrooms in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center are accessible and compliant with ADA standards.

• Sign language interpreters.
• Complimentary registration for personal care assistants.

Accessible Parking

• To self-park ($25 and $50 for oversized vehicles), from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you. Accessible parking spaces are also located in this lot, closest to the building (the same parking rates apply).

Dietary Restrictions

Meals are not included in the price of registration. Only add-on events for an additional cost and the open receptions will include catering at ASHG 2025. ASHG makes every effort to provide gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian, & vegan options at these events but our catering partners cannot guarantee their availability and cannot ensure no cross contamination of allergens takes place.
