Contact Congress, elected officials, and legislative committees:

• Learn how to reach out to Members of Congress.
• Write emails to your legislators (visit the ASHG Advocacy Action Center) about the importance of research funding and other key ASHG policy priorities.

• Attend events like town halls that your representatives hold in your district and state.
• Attend Hill Days hosted by policy & advocacy groups at your institutions.
• Engage with legislators on social media.
